SUPERNOVA'S ROADSHOW

Supernova Roadshow is owned and run by Alan Simpson. Alan started as a DJ on the back of playing bass in a rock band. For a while he was lending the amps, speakers and lighting from the band to a friend who used it as a mobile disco. Eventually Alan got wise and offered his friend the choice of
either paying to hire the gear or letting him partner in the disco. Three years later the friend quit the disco as his wife was having a baby, leaving Alan in charge of things. He then invested more money in the disco and carried on running it for about 15 years until he decided to retire and moving to a new area. But then at the millennium he was asked to hire some equipment and do a New Years Eve gig and got the hunger again. After that he officially came out of retirement and two years ago joined DJs United and has been a valued member since that day. Steve met Alan after phoning him out the Thompson local to cover a booking that he could not fulfil due to a previous commitment and they have since become great friends.
